What an amazing site. I would try to darken the light section at the top and the sand at the bottom of the image if it were mine. I feel this would hold the eye in the image. There is so much to see when you look into the animals and their struggle to get across the river. Great shot

Thank you Nicole. It is very different to my usual images and following the comments in this group I entered it in a competition last weekend and just received notification it was chosen as the winner.... Low level competition but exciting just the same |

Thank you Walter. It was a great sight and the noise was unreal as squawked their morning song |

As you have stated 'Peaceful'. Good sharpness through the image and nice reflections. The plants in the foreground add interest and texture, in contrast to the top of the frame where to water is glass like. Colours work well

Walter, you continue to present images of places I would love to sit in the scene and enjoy beauty around me. Lots of texture and the colour of nature. The pool edge leads the eye into the centre of the image. I like the tighter crop in your edited version. Colour pallet is pleasing

Lots to like in this image, the leading lines created by the trees that zigzag through the image, the magic of fog and so many layers from front to back. The colour pallet is nice and appears very natural. Good job, great image |

What an incredible sight this would have been. Im wanting to see more at the bottom of the image, the wildebeest being cut off in the foreground make the image look rushed. The image would be far stronger if you could see the leaders and perhaps some water or bank out in front of them to complete the story. |
