Wow, congratulations on capturing this shot. I cant add any more than the others, I do like Walters tighter crop. That little guy is looking right at you.... |

A beautiful image, Im really enjoying the colours and variety of textures you have captured, the sharpness of the wood to the softness of the clouds. Your re edit my favorite and like the others Im not sure about the bird. I think its size makes it a distraction rather than adding to the image. Would love to be sitting here watching this scene play out |

Great subject, super sharp image. I love all the detail you have captured in the fur. The bush does take away seeing the animals legs which is a pity. To me this is a wild animal and I feel its needs more space in the frame, seeing more of the environment would add to the story that he is roaming free |

Thank you for your comments Frank. You are correct the image was shot handheld, blur was unintentional. I was intending to edit in the style of a very well respected landscape photographer here in Australia, whose work I enjoy. My results show I need a lot more practice to achieve perfection. I have to admit I got carried away with the colour and did not consider the texture and detail I was losing. And right back at the beginning I should have had a tripod to obtain a better base shot. Thanx again for your comments Frank, much appreciated |

Thank you for your comments Walter, I have to agree with the loss of detail as you pointed out. With this image I was attempting to edit in the style of a very well respected landscape photographer here in Australia, I really enjoy the colours he brings to his images. In my next attempt I will tone the colours back and take more notice of the textures. Thanx again for your comments, as always I have learnt from your experience |
