What an amazing creature with all the colour and textures. I like your composition, and the colour pallet but feel your focus is a little off, with the wing being sharpest section of the image. Having the eye sharp I feel would have made the image stronger. Macro is not easy and you have manage a nice image |

Very interesting subject, how lucky you were to see this occurring. Im tending towards the original version of the image, being able to see more details in the mans face, headlamp. Ideally the stump would not be going through the mans chest and the hippo would be closer to the boat.... That said this is such a great scene the image is a keeper. |

A thought provoking image. I like your original image better than the crop provided. I would consider a really tight crop around the tunnel opening with some foreground and using a black and white format

Big drama here. Great image Janice. I agree with the other on the lower crop but I think I like the colour version best. It make me feel the cold. Thank you for sharing Im a long way from any snow so this is a wow image for me |

Oh yes Walter, I want to sit in this scene and relax. Like the way you have used the water as a leading line. You have captured the light nicely. On my monitor the whole image looks green, if its not just my monitor I feel toning down the green tinge on the rock wall would at interest. Good job, beautiful image |

Nicole, thank you very much for your comment. I have played with the crop and feel I like the big sky version best opposed to more foreground less sky but taking in to account your comment maybe I need to take some of the detail out of the sky? |

Thanx for you work on my image Walter, you have improved the image. I tried your crop version showing a lot of sky and also leaving the road in the foreground and cropping the sky down. I feel I like the big sky version best but taking in to account Nicole's comment maybe I need to take some of the detail out of the sky? |
