Lovely portrait of the Khaleej Pheasant in what looks to be natural surroundings. The colours and detail you have captured in the birds feathers are wonderful, super sharp and over all a very nice image. Like the girls I feel the head area could have a little more light |

Really nice image Walter. We are in the middle of a hot summer in Australia, I want to go and sit by this waterfall. Great job handling the light and I enjoy the composition. As for the stick, I would leave it in. It adds a view point to the image and after all it is nature - not always perfect. |

Nice capture with the full view of the back two birds wings extended. I would like to see a little more room in front of the leading birds, they feel cramped as they fly to the edge of the image. As with Janice the image does not look sharp on my monitor. I find birds so very hard to get right..... |

Another great geese image Janice. Wonderful action, with the birds in different stages of take off. The pano crop suits this image and puts the focus on the geese. I find the top dry grass section a small distraction, and wonder if the image might be better cropped just a little lower under the dry grass section. |

Thank you for your comments Janice. I have heard of that rule of thumb but did not consider it at the time. Good one for me to remember....
