Well processed Jakob, Good to tidy up the background and bring out the flower, highlighting the centre of the flower works well. I do agree with the others that lifting the overall lighting could be a plus. |

I like it Mervyn, I agree I am not sure how it gets to balance, colours great, sharp, background perfect. You have ticked all the boxes with this one well done. Great to see the wings extended. |

Great Pierre, love the setting the colours, great looking picture. I would possibly remove some of the pic on the right. I must be having probs with by computer because it looks a little soft, but given the f stop 10 used I think that this is my problem. Its late at night in Aus and I think my eyes are getting things wrong. Great picture I always judge a picture from the point of view would I like it hanging on my wall and in this case yes I would. |

Dean I know how difficult it is to capture birds in flight and you have done it, well done. Well composed and processed. I don't know if it is my computer but the bird in the tree seems a little out of focus. If so may be an f stop of 8 or 11 may have helped. |

Kathryn, thanks for your kind comments. As far as I can remember I cropped a little, not much, lightened a little and used the vibrance just a tad. I have enclosed the original. All was done in Lightroom. |

Frans good to see you join the group. Nice sharp image, good sky, few clouds always add to the image, I personally would crop a little of the right of the pic to get rid of much of the white building as pos. Is there more to the left? The Cathedral is great and the detail, colouring excellent. Well processed. |

Katheryn great lighting has made a good pic. I am not sure but I would probably cropped some of the left of the pic and some of the sky, it would focus a little more on the buildings, only a thought. |
