69 Sep 20 Reply Thanks Candy. Sep 7th
69 Sep 20 Comment Thanks Mervyn, I agree with you and Brenda. Sep 7th
69 Sep 20 Reply Thanks Dean, The problem we have is that there is little water in the outback and there is a little moisture along the sides of the roads that attracts the roos to the growth. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment Your work just keeps on stepping up each month Jacob. The black and white was a good idea, although the colour version is appealing. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment Mervyn, I think it has all been said, and the edited version has come out well. I agree I was loving your African pics. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment What can I say Candy, another classic pic. The bird is active and in flight, what else could you wish for, great effort. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment Like the shot Pierre, I must admit that I am coming to love your focus stacking, my Nikon does not do that. The positioning of the bug and the lighting makes for a great pic, not to mention that it is sharp. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment Great reflections Dean, well done nice pic. I have a similar landscape taken in New Zealand, where I lightened the shadow area. I would possible do the same to your pic, its only a suggestion. Sep 6th
69 Sep 20 Comment Wow, great shot Brenda. I agree with the new title, sorry that I missed this when I was in the US and was so close to it. I would possibly have lightened the darker parts of the pic just a little. Sep 5th
69 Sep 20 Reply Again great suggestions Brenda. Yes there is blood on the wedge tail eagle. It was feeding from the road kill you see in the insert. We only travel by day there are too many kangaroos hit at night. The Birdsville track is an iconic outback track between Marree and Birdsville pioneered Tom Kruse who delivered the mail to some of the largest cattle stations in the world situated in the desert. They made a movie of him and there is a short trailer of the movie showing what the track was like in 1954. The track has since been greatly improved but is still a dusty gravel track punctuated by sections of sand.
