69 Jun 20 Comment You have worked so hard on your pic and have done well, good on you Brenda. I do agree that sometimes things turn out much better in B&W and this is the case with your pic. Jun 20th
69 Jun 20 Comment Thanks Pierre for your kind comments, Geoff, hope that you are keeping safe in the US. Jun 19th
69 Jun 20 Reply Thanks for your encouragement and kind comments Candy, coming from you it means a lot. Keep safe,Geoff. Jun 14th
69 Jun 20 Reply Yes Brenda, I we have different names for things down under. Dock Poles = pontoons. Great pic though. Need to come to the US for a refresher course. Still can't get over the hostess on the plane to Florida saying "how ye all" with such a lovely strong accent, my wife and I could not believe it was for real. Great country, keep safe. Jun 13th
69 Jun 20 Reply No we don't live on our boat dean. It is an American boat called a Passport 40ft. Having said that we did have it around Australia for about five years. We did fly bak home every so often. The Great Barrier Reef was just magnificent. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Reply Tricky Brenda with the sea and the clouds running in different directions. It gives the impression the sea is not straight. It actually is. Thanks for your comments. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment Good choice being in B&W Brenda, makes for a great shot. I possibly would have got rid of the pontoons so as to make the palm stand out more. Good on you, powerful shot. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment You love your flowers Jacob and you have done well with this one. I would like to have seen it shot earlier in the day or later in the afternoon to bring out the colours a little more. That may have decreased the intensity of the background and let the flower stand out. The cropping is great. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment As per usual you have created a very pleasing shot Candy. For some reason you seem to know just when to flip a shot and in this case it works well for me.The post production is always worth the the effort it helps make a shot. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment Like like the shot Pierry, the bird has come up just great, in focus, and performing well. Like the others I am a little concerned about the background. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment Great dean, looks like we had a similar experience. Thanks for alerting me to the lightening trigger, I did not know that such animals existed.I like the location of your place located on the edge of a lake. Great capture. Jun 11th
69 Jun 20 Comment I think that it has all been said Mervyn, great shot, colours are good catching the bird eating sure is a bonus, it makes the shot. Jun 11th
