Much improved Brenda, I personally would crop a little of the black off the bottom leaving just a little of the black. I would get rid of the stick in the water bottom left of centre. Only my thoughts Brenda. Keep enjoying Florida, we are going through our hottest period on history, Have a great Christmas regards Geoff |

I agree, its a changing world. All most too quick for an old guy like me. It was not too long ago people thought that digital pictures would not replace celluloid, I don't see many people using celluloid today., and back then it was almost a crime to tinker with a picture. |

Thanks for the comment Pierre, I tried to locate Gaspesie peninsula but could not locate it on Google Earth. What is the place close to the peninsula? |

Jacob great subject, I do find the butterfly a little soft and lost in the foliage. I am not sure the f stop being used but I would suggest increasing it to give you a greater depth of field this may improve the sharpness of the picture. I don't know what you can do about the dead foliage? |

Geoffrey WigginsThanks Candy, always welcome your comments. I think I did tidy up the noise in my reworked version. Let me know if I didn't. |

Brenda the colours make the image live. I do like the lighting in the foreground. The rest has been said, a little cropping in the right areas would really lift the pic. Good on you. |

Pierre great bird and well captured, I do agree that the background has let you down. If you could tidy it up the pic would realy stand out. |

I think it has all been said Dean. you have captured the bird well, the only problem is that you have done equally well in capturing the back ground. My wife,Louise has just done a course on I phones having just purchased the I phone 11 plus, this has a program that lets us get rid of the back ground. This would really let the bird stand out. The colours in the bird are just great. PS. I did a coursed last year where the presenter who had a Phd in photography claimed in a few years we will only be using I Phones. Glade I have Apple shares in the US. |

Like the reflections Mervyn, again I like the variety of birds that you have to photograph and you do seem to bring out the best in them. The rest has already been said. Well done |

Again a great shot but more so the treatment of the image. The background sure lets the bird stand out. The detail in the bird is all there. |

The colours are great Brenda, I like the reflections. I agree that cropping the tree would be a good idea. |

Thanks Brenda, I was a little careless in my processing. There is a little movement in the bird, I thought that 1/4000 would be enough to freeze it but I must have got my panning wrong. I have done as you rightly suggested and sharpened it and smoothed the grain a little I hope that this improves it. |
