Thanks for your comment Mervyn, some of the gannets at Portland have flown from South Africa, 10,000 km. Some have mated with the Australian gannets. I am going to be given the key again shortly so that I can photograph the chicks when they are born. |

Just as a bit of information Pete Morton of the PSA asked me to mention that he had included me this month in the Showcase. http://psadigital.org |

Brenda I Don't know how you got such a shot. You must be really happy to get it in full flight. The only comment I can make is that I personally would have cropped it a little tighter, but that's me. Well done |

Great Candy, I do have a love of birds and you do know how to capture them. I also know how difficult it is to capture them in full flight, which you have done. To top it off the bird is doing something, could you want for anything else? Needless to say I like it. |

Pierre I wish I knew your birds a little better because some birds are hard to capture and l feel that is exactly what you have done. I do agree that a square format would improve the pic, but that is only a personal preference. |

A great sunset pic Dean, colours are perfect. I would possibly lighten the trees a little. Well done Dean |

I do like the droplet coming from the beak Mervyn. As with the others in the group, the rings do make the pic jut right. Colours of the bird are great. The rest has already been said, well done. |
