Considering the conditions the pic was taken, 840mm I think it was a challenge and well done. Great capture. |

I don't know where you keep finding such great shots Donna. Great composition and just so sharp, well done. |

I enjoy this shot Dean, I think that most has been said but most of all the colours are great and I do love that it is all sharp not an easy task given the flowers would not have been all in the same plane. |

Again an impressive pic Candy, love the dark background it sure focuses on the birds. Detail in the feathers has certainly added to shot. |

Great pic Mervyn, nice and sharp, colours on the caterpillar stand out nice and vividly. I agree with the comments Brenda has made. Not much to add other than I recon it's a great shot.

Love the reflections Brenda, personally I would have cropped the left of the pic to focus more on the bird, but that's only a personal preference. On my I pad the pic is not coming up sharp. |

You are great Brenda, thanks for the comment. No I have not played with his one for memory. It was taken in the early morning before the breeze got up, hence the clear water without ripples. The early morning sun was responsible for the yellowing. We are always amazed how these remote areas look. Cristal clear waters a little like the Caribbean. A friend lent his boat in the Caribbean a few years ago that's why I feel I can make this comparison. I hope that I can get my next pic in on time. I am at Mt Isa at the moment and have reception but in an hour I will be back in the out back with only my satalite phone for communication, no wifi. Heading for Birdsville. |
