Original #3 hangs on my wall but was not submitted this month. I have already won exhibitions with it, so it isn't an image I can submit to DD. I am happy you enjoyed it. It is a composite of a model ship I have, Snoqualmie Falls, and some use of filters. It is indeed a creative image.
I misread your comment and thought you referred to my original image taken at Kubota Gardens. I'm moving into an independent living facility, and the move is making me anxious, plus selling our home. My apologies. |

Hi Joan. I posted a comment along with an image, but it is now gone.
I meant for my COMMENT on MY Image to be deleted after I correctly changed it to a REPLY. That hasn't been deleted, but my comments on yours are now history.
I changed the background color palette which I think made the wolf harder for me to see. Creating the wolf was wonderful work. The eyes stand out no matter what. |

Good question Ian. There are so many little creatures that can be spotted all around in this image that it opens a whole world to the imagination. It belongs in an art gallery (or house of horrors.) As Gunter said the weakest link is the connection between the two people, and other than the clock, the gramophone.
I could see myself sitting for many revists just to see what I would see when I am in different moods. |

Thank you, Robin. Unfortunately, the original does not meet the criteria for Creative, does it? |

Thank you, Joan. I'm not sure when you looked at the image, as I failed to give Ian proper directions for posting. He has since corrected my display, and you might need to refresh your screen. I am attaching a highlighted image to show you where the ship lives. Unfortunately, I deliberately melded it into the water as an added attraction (I hope.) |

Thanks, Ian. Yes the ship was obscured as I told Joan. but I hoped the white swirls would give the viewer a reason to explore and find the ship (the third element.) |

Thanks, Gunter. Thank you for your suggestions. The crop takes out my red and white "S" curve. Do you see that being a good thing? It sets the image up for a ping-pong effect between elements. |

No, Gunter, your eye is fine, as are your eyes. I was trying to find out what role the blue Original played in the final image. |

Thanks, Ian. We do all see things differently, especially in abstracts, but I don't consider it strange. Seeing things differently started each of the "Ages" of art. As far as the black goes, black is used as an eye stopper, so I see the feather as being bounded by the black. I wanted to give Gunter a completely different idea, not a rehash of his already finished image. |

This is WOW, Robin. So many wonderful phantasies in one image and all so well unified. Not only is it blended with textures, but also colors. So very well done it makes me sad, but not hopeless. |

Hi Gunther, I like abstracts and couldn't resist playing. I like your color palette, although I'm not sure where the blue fits in. I must agree with Joan, that a re-title makes sense, but on the other hand many abstract oil paintings are sometimes extremely hard for me to decipher from a title. I find the image a little bit hard to navigate, so I tried a major transform using LR and constrain crop, so I didn't get lost. |

Hi Gary,
Both original images are well done, and your Original 2 composite of what appears to be half Africa, half Lowlands, is not only strange, but like Joan, I don't see it at all in the main image. It looks more like an apartment or other building should be the O2. Ian can fix them if that is the case. |

Hi Ian, I really enjoy the image now. Yellow is a warm, inviting color and the whole palette brings joy and hope. Great image. I highlighted in magenta a couple of areas that I think need attention. The left side of the House leans right, and the bushes underneath the right windows are muddled. If those were intentional, it is just a nitpick on my part. |
