Thanks Shirley. It was a ridiculously hard image to remove just the people. I probably need more help and practice. |

Thanks, Fred. Actually, your February 2023 image put this thought in my head. December 2022 also, so I may need to add some text. Would that help, along with increasing the size of the swimming pool shot? My son and grandson do like it, and they are my audience for this collage. |

Thank you, Angela. I was throwing him in the pool. He spotted it right away, and it was a special experience for him to fly and land in the pool. Shows up better in an 8x10. |

Hi Deborah. I Like your vision for this lady. I agree with Sam that you should consider more space at the bottom and masking her entire face rather than just the headband area. Your vision though. |

Thanks for sharing, Angela. My eight-year-old grandnephew like to use his iPhone when we video chat to change his and his sister's faces during the chat, so I appreciate the concept. Well done. I might consider pushing the background back and using a gradient for a smoother blend. |

Well done, Shirley. Excellent subject and treatment. I would consider pushing the background away from the flowers. I masked the background in LR and burned it. Your vision though, as always. |

Thanks for sharing, Fred. Your background change makes a busy image beautiful. I agree with Sam that making the horizontal level helps the viewer. I used PS and had some trouble with the case, but you get the idea. I would consider leaving the music stand in also to give reference for the open case. Really well done. |

I really like this composition. Sam. I can relate to your vision and your image has a lot of emotion. You decided to leave a hint of more roof to the temple, and I understand that the subject is the drummer. I would consider burning the roofline and the trees to simplify the image or increasing the shadows to reveal the temple more but push it back. It already captures the eye first as the drummer is darker. I removed the lights on the left too. I found them only slightly distracting. Great image. |

Thanks, Bob. I really need to see if I had a head on to the cross. A vertical crop is needed on this if it can be salvaged from a tourist shot. |

I was hoping to give you more feedback since you are thinking about removing THE mountain. I couldn't find a good crop. I have lived here too long, I guess. 192 straight days below 70 degrees and counting. The rest of the world is burning up! |

Thanks, Cheryl. I'll have to look. Much like Kate, I love Ireland and now wish we had been able to return. Our plan for a return was to rent a B&B or cottage and explore from a home base. Our ancestry is Irish and Scottish, but my bucket list has reached its expiration date now. |

Thanks, Dan. A Macro technique, only a much darker image than a flower garden would convey. Great idea. |

Thanks for sharing, Gloria. I apologize for not fixing your narrative in Word first. I usually do. The composition is wonderful. I would consider a couple of things. Crop a little of the left to eliminate the streetlights. Use the slab in the foreground to level the image or use perspective transform to level for the 35mm lens distortion. I wouldn't worry about the arena lights, except why the other set didn't come on. Probably came on minutes later. Run off sensors, I assume. I warmed it a little, but that's more of a personal preference, and caused a halo. All just nitpicks for a wonderful image. |

Hi Cheryl, your composition is beautiful and balanced. Is it believable? Depends on how that much moonlight got on the hay bale, and whether your audience cares. Your dodging and burning are wonderful at bringing out the details in the image. The original moon was bright and your composite works for me. Same moon shot for Moonrise over Hernandez. Hope your sells for as much. |

Thanks for sharing, Dan. I heard Cole Thompson https://colethompsonphotography.com/
speak at a PSA Convention and was inspired to find my vision. "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." Herman Melville. I am not going to try to critique this image, but the titles you chose always are enticing to me. I wonder at the technical aspects. Did you zoom while shooting? Where did you focus? Did you enjoy the process? I am not a fan of "likes" either, but I seldom receive any at club, anyway. Keep shooting, enjoy the process and hopefully the beauty of this world. |

I never tire of images of our mountain. You've brought some very interesting views to bear, and I like this composition a lot. Reflection Lake is also an iconic viewpoint. Your gear does Mount Tahoma proud, and you always take great images with it. Unfortunate for all, our skies are hit and miss (mostly miss.) |

Haru, Thank you for sharing. The winter scene needs to be a little whiter and brighter for me to feel the cold. Blues make me calm. The image isn't busy, but I like the subject and wish it to be larger in the frame. It appears to be a dancer of some sort, with an elaborate headdress. I'm including this image for consideration, but you were there, and your emotion is more important. |

Thank you, Gloria. Good suggestions. I had hoped the other headstones would add a sense of place. I'll need to think more about that. Maybe a burn is needed to push them back. Cropping worked better for me. |

You are welcome. Just for information on Celtic wheel crosses, the circle may have been added to the Christian cross representing the sun. A holdover from ninth century wooden crosses needing more structural strength. |

Thank you, Haru. I need to rename this to Glendalough Cross. That might change expectations. I didn't take much there as it was so hilly, we were worn out just going around all the monastery grounds, and it was our first day there. Jet lag and all that. |

You all helped me learn to see in a different light. I am naturally drawn to "harsh and stylized." It is from living in a military environment for so long, I think. I must work hard for a softer approach. |

Thank you, Dan., I must re-title this image. A vertical crop is in order. Sometimes finding a spot to shoot from in a full cemetery is a challenge. Dorinda sees images better in cemeteries, so mine are usually so-so. It does help me a lot to get your feedback. |
