You had better hurry, Jim. This rural area is getting overrun with tour photographers disrupting the farmers' lifestyle and combine/tractor access to their dirt roads. |

I always wish I could "see" these images myself. Alas, I am without the eye. Enough about me. Beautiful lines, sharp, excellent tones and color. Perfect. Works for me in B&W too. |

Great street photo. Good story, perfect technically. Works for me as a B&W too. |

I'm unsure of whether this is a digitally framed image you took in the Palouse or an image of a wall-mounted image. Either way it is a work of art. It appears to me that you added a matte effect {or used matte paper if a print) and it lacks depth for me. Color is great in the Palouse and your image is too flat for me. Dodging and burning would help define the rolling terrain. As Judy observed the presentation is really well done. |

I think that you hit on the perfect reason for Auto. It is the best choice for "getting" the shot when time is of the essence.
That being said, I would still use post-processing to draw the viewers eye through the scene as you want. In my example I burned some of the foreground and background to add dimension to what the camera tries to make match a similar image in its database. I hoped to not have the elk compete with the rainbow and hill. |

The variegated leaf may be holding the image back for some, as I am reminded of a watermelon. If you can select and replace all the colors on the pad with a solid green (opposite the magenta flower color) it would simplify the color palette for me. Since it has gained an acceptance already, that would be my only suggestion. |

Thanks for all your excellent comments.
Radiance is just another use of Gaussian blur, much like a glow. I need to work on my masking skills.
I didn't notice the missing words[s] before building. Gives me an excuse for more image taking.
Unfortunately, I don't have a video game console. I would not suggest in this age expressing any killing of bureaucrats, no matter how deserving. Just cast our votes accordingly.

I would agree with each of the above positive comments. I am however distracted by all of the blown out highlights in the leaves and petals. If you get an overcast dat perhaps you can take more images, even if you don't get the damsel. |

I think maybe there was some ghosting or misalignment done in the HDR merging process. If you still have the original images you can try again. The dark spot in the upper right outweighs any balance gained by the trees, in my opinion. Crop away! B&W works too. |

I am also not sure that this needs to be an IR image, and I do not think there is enough sizable interest for me on the outside area. It does work for me as an abstract though I would crop it to use the interest in the silhouettes. It may work as a B&W too. Thanks for experimenting. Maybe Blake Rudis can provide some helpful insights to IR photography and processing. https://f64academy.com/infrared-photography-experimentation/ |

You have definitely made your image dramatic. I like it better than the in camera version. In my opinion, a crop might add to the impact. Good image. |

Nicely done. Uncluttered composition, sharp and good color and exposure. For PID presentation tou might consider a thin stroke border. |

Never having used a medium format kit before. I wasn't sure what to expect from your images. This image seems a bit soft to me, but that could just be my eyes. I have to say that I agree with the majority that the image contains too much shadow area. Maybe a crop would allow you to keep the mood you seek. |

I like the story you have told. I think the image is sharp and the B&W conversion is excellent. I think a 4x5 crop would work well with this image and get rid of some of the excess building and sidewalk that I don't see fitting in with the man and the bus travel story. |
