If you want the viewer led from right to left, and into the crowd as your lines all suggest (to me) then I would just clone out the yellow concrete that takes me out of the frame, leave the crowd in focus, but blur the buildings. In my opinion, I get stuck exploring them more than anything in the crowd. If you want us to view from left to right, I'd flip it horizontally, which eliminates my issue. Just my opinion. |

Sharp, colorful and a good "pose". Terrific image. I removed a couple leaf blemishes and brightened his face (probably too much). Really excellent silhouette. |

Judy is definitely the PT expert, but I'd like the background less prominent. You have a tack sharp image, great lines, repetition and colors. Terrific capture. I am always distracted by watermarks, especially in a study group. Thought I'd try to see what a later evening shot might look like. I added a gaussian blur layer and masked the fountain. |

Good job once again. Very nice curves and lines. I know it is very sharp, as I can see the detail in the officers barracks cover. I too am bothered by the merger in his knee, but not so much by the hidden face, since I think you were going for their lines. |

Great capture of an animal portrait. Detailed, sharp, and engaging. It appears to me to have a blue color cast. I also darkened the background a little to try to add a little depth. Maybe just more blur would do the same. I guess that is why wildlife photogs buy the big lenses that weigh a thousand pounds. You are a master. |

I really like the color and sharpness in the image. The reflection is really good. Due to the choice of using the reflection, we don't get to see the subject as close like your past images. I cropped a little of the sky above her head and below he reflection. You've mentioned the cloud darkness on her dress being an issue for you, I selected that area, and also on the reflection, filled with color selected from nearby, to remove the shadows. More attention to detail might produce a better result, but it gives you an idea of possible remedies. I am not sure I like it better though. I also don't think placing her off-center helps, since the reef/rocks provide symmetry to me. |

In my opinion, the white circles don't hurt the image, and may be a good addition. I can't seem to fix the space in the "about the image." The swirl is more appealing to me than the original because it simplifies the image. Good colors, sharpness and design. |

I'll show Dorinda now to fix these comments sometime today. We have been shooting our little heads off, and the conference drains us sometimes. The wild horses are in much better shape physically than BLM would have us believe. The cow men just want more free pastures. Hopefully these beautiful animals will remain in this area. The sky was clear, the sun glorious, and I think four of the horses charged around our guides SUV just to show off a little. We had maintained a safe distance from the herd when these two and two others returned and posed for us. |

Oops! The above message says it's from my husband, Bob, but is actually "me", Dorinda! My computer is on it's way back to the manufacturer for repair and I am using his laptop. :-0

Robert,
Our guide made certain that we were the required distance from the horses, but on occasion they do surprise you and move closer than you had planned. As for the "glisten", I can't tell you exactly, but for the most part I made exposure adjustments in LR. Then I used the Adjustments box in Topaz Studio until I had what I thought worked best. Wish I could be more specific. Just being there was a great experience although we came back covered in dust! Took great precautions to keep our gear clean. You may see a couple more photos in the coming months. |
