I think it would be really fun to ride on the ladder, if I were 50 years younger. Maintenance guys get all the fun! |

I did have to spend time spot healing water droplets from my lens. I must have missed some. I had not cropped the right more due to the huge crane. I didn't want to leave the jib without a base, and I was too lazy to try to remove the jib from the buildings. |

Excellent job, Bill. The reflection makes the subject stand out quite perfectly for me. |

Good job, Jim. Mother Nature doesn't seem to understand we want our beauty unsullied! Judy is correct in what most judges want. The colors pop, detail except in the highlights is good, and I think that a vignette might distract us some from the blemished pads. Of course as we older folks know, it's not nice to fool mother nature. |

Glad you didn't have Monsoons to deal with. I actually think you have a good image to keep the subject centered. The boat and driver have plenty of space to keep us in the frame, and the brighter trees on the right lead us to the boat and wake. The darker trees on the left keep us in the frame. The colors really define your subject well. If you submit it to a magazine you might want to remove some of the single water plants, just to pretty it up.
It is funny, having read some of your comments in which you flip the image. East reads right to left, and west reads left to right. Our eyes are trained to see images in the same manner. This image, I think reads well from right to left! |

Excellent composition, sharpness and detail. It is always nice to find a "red canoe" for our images. |

I really like the subject and your composition. I also like the color, with the exception in the bright yellow leaves on the left. May you can swap the color with the vine leaves to see if you like that. To me, the yellow competes too much for attention with the eye/keyhole. Good "eye"! |

Nicely composed Stephan. Sun spots seem to come and go in popularity, but in this case I think Karen's crop shows that the refracted light in your lens caused uneven skin tones in your subject. Lightroom can be used to even out the blotches, although if you are also a PS user, it has better tools. It is a good snapshot of a nice looking boy, but in my opinion, probably wouldn't work in portraiture. |

Thank you Tam Where would you crop the bottom? Should I just take out the vegetation? Do you like this better. I added a spot to the needle, since I had it open. |

I have fixed Karen's image, but if you still see a low res image complete the following steps, as necessary, to see the hi-res image.
1. Refresh your browser
2. Clear your browsing history |

I am working to get the image reloaded. I'll let you and Tam know when that happens, Stephen. |
