If you wish to attach before and after images, just size them as you would the main image and label them in the order you want, and then attach them with your e-mail. I can load a main image and up to three secondary images. |

It was nice to get to talk to you at the conference, Bill. I love the simplicity in your image this month, and you timed this image perfectly, as Jim said. I think that Karen's square crop works well too, but needs a little more room at the bottom as you provided. Great job. |

Excellent treatment of a popular subject. I like the nostalgic look and feel. When we talk about judging, I am going to add a couple of issues I would use downgrade this image. I see details in the upper left red area(door?) that need to be cloned or cropped out. One is a blue triangle, the other is the background above the door. The other small distraction above club level could be the chrome strip in the lower right. What I am suggesting is that club level judges may not have time to look at all the edges and details, whereas exhibition judges separate an re-examine your images several times during competition. If you choose to put your work out there for competition, try to return to the image many times to see every aspect without the emotion of having taken the image. That is just something I believe could benefit us all. That is also what I want as group feedback so I can eliminate mistakes and improve my images before entering them in competition. |

Excellent color, composition and clarity. The tree on the left acts as a nice stopper for me. Just as an exercise, I would make copies cropped down and in from the right to see if there are even more strong images within this image. Just a thought. |

Excellent composition, clarity and subject. I agree with removing the color cast, and I might suggest a slight crop at the top to remove the second patch of green. It doesn't add anything for me, and eliminates having the deer centered vertically, unless that was your intent. |

I love your use of triangles in this image. I might crop to the first cloud to strengthen the top triangle. Color, contrast and exposure all all well done (as usual.) There are a couple of twiggy things in the lower left that need cloning out. The fog adds depth for me. II sat in on a presentation for luminosity masks and thought I'd share how effective they can be. The presenter gave Tony Kuyper as the originator, but there are others that are available with educational videos. LM can add significantly to our image post processing. It was very nice to see you and Bill at the conference. |

I very much love silhouettes, and yours is no exception. I think that Tam's straightening of the horizon is a must in this, and all images. Our eyes just don't adjust well to water running up or down hill. The asymmetry outline of your pooches neck just made me wonder what he had found or fetched from the water. It does give him/her the look of a lion. |

Thank you Tam. I'm afraid that you are in a large minority of folks that do not think much of my composites. Much like the rest of this month's comments on other images I agree very much that competition should be undertaken with a very thick skin(or a lot of talent, like most of you.) I appreciate all the comments. It was very unnerving for me to see Nick Ut's AP photos at the conference, but I was happy to hear him say that Vietnam has returned to its former beauty. |

He is on the left. His arm starts at the lower left. Try following to his shoulder. I think I did this while under the influence of pain pills. |
