Thank you Gary for the edit. I do need to pick a better sky and placement, was just fun to play around with it :) |

You are right Gary, sky replacement is not usually great. I was just playing around here to depend the shadows better and probably should have left it with original sky. |

Agreed Lou on all the suggestions, should have played around more with sky placement or choosing a better image. |

Trey, you are absolutely right, I should have taken more time with the edit to pick a better sky replacement and get the placement on the sky right :) |

Gary, pigeon point is one of my favorite places to shoot the Milky Way and I have shot several time lapses there. It is very frustrating though since it is very crowded and you do get a lot of red light from cars and people shining light not the lighthouse which is not needed. My personal preference wold be to try and eliminate the red since to me it is distracting from the Milky Way. Here is one of my compositions from the same place that I posted last year in this group:

Love the image and post processing Trey. I personally also like the original where the atmosphere created by the fog is great. Wonder if you can bring some of that fog back for the ambience while retaining the clarity of the post edits? |

Charles, overall composition is great. I like the contrasts and clarity in the original picture and as others have already commented, I like the suggestions made by Gary. |

Love the image Lou. No suggestions on edits but there is a second image that is within this one that could be outstanding as an impressionist abstract. I love abstracts, so my eye went immediately to the waves :) |

Scott, this is easily one of the best shots I have seen of the Cabo sea stack. I think the birds and sky replacement does make this picture and has been done well. I did not even know Luminar has features like adding birds. This is my personal preference, I would try adding the birds to the left over the three stacks more than the center where it will enhance the picture while still not distracting from the arch. if that does not work well, then do remove the one bird that is touching the stone since the eye is immediately drawn to it. |

Lovely image Gary and I like all the editing choices you have made with cropping, opening up shadows and color saturation. Minor suggestion for next time, wish you had used a longer exposure to slow down the water movement and get better reflections. |
