I got an error message that network had lost connection even though it was in sight and close enough but the controller could not connect to it. I had bought the care insurance package but DJI refused to replace it. So did not buy a new one yet, hard enough carrying rest of the camera gear. |

Good image Gary and thank you for all tips on night photography. I use Defn from Nik for getting rid of the noise, not sure if you used it here? |

Love the shot Charles, you have done a wonderful job on playing with the light and bringing out the colors. Like the person in there for scale. Seems to me the horizon is not straight and needs to be fixed? |

Scott, this is great, especially since you managed it on a phone. Amsterdam is a wonderful place for long exposures and reflections, hopefully next time you will be able to bring your camera. |

Lou, I bought a DJI Mavic pro2 but lost it in Iceland in heavy winds. I belong to group 84 where we share videos, will be great if you want to join. I am nervous about buying another drone but do want to take Ariel shots like this :) |

I like the image Trey and more so how you have processed it. Fog is so beautiful to photograph but hard, so you have done a good job of finding a focal point. |

Thank you Lou and Charles. When visiting a place that is photographed a lot, I am usually looking to shoot something different that has not been done before in Iconic locations. It is hard to do something that is creative and different so learning new techniques to do so. Appreciate your encouragement! |

Scott: I usually do motion blurs by doing a long exposure while holding the camera by hand and doing a vertical motion of the camera while exposing. |

Thank you Trey. I agree, I should crop the frame further to exclude the tall trees on top. |

Thank you for your feedback Gary. Art is very subjective and what is art for one can be garbage for someone else. This is a scene of trees with reflections taken with a long exposure and with enough motion blur to give it an ethereal quality - which is what I was going for when I framed it. In fact, this print was chosen amongst many in a competition to be displayed at a fine Arts gallery in Livermore. This genre of photography is extremely popular now and I also received a lot of appreciation and enquiries for purchase on social media. But like I said, it may not be universally appealing. |
