84 Sep 19 Reply Thank you Dick and Peter. Unfortunately, I never am able to shoot overnight when I do these time lapses. Someday will get around to shooting longer.

Peter: I do get my lenses drenched and soaked regularly, shooting stupidly in all sorts of weather conditions. I usually just spray them with the camera lens cleaning solutions I buy and wipe them with the lens wiping cloth. I need to send my lenses for professional cleaning as well.

84 Sep 19 Comment Thank you Dick. I am so undecided if I should invest in a drone again. Inspite of buying the DJI care insurance package, DJI refused to replace my drone even though I lost it due to a network connection lost issue :( Sep 9th
84 Sep 19 Comment Syed, good use of the top gun music! Amazed that you can hold your phone while navigating your helicopter, envy your ability to have this perspective. Wondering if you can attach a dash camera holder like how we do on a car, so you can have a broader view? Sep 5th
84 Sep 19 Comment Peter, really loved the handwriting effect, learnt something new! A good video showcasing Washington state, felt like I visited there. Sep 5th
84 Sep 19 Comment Dick,
Having lost my drone so quickly, I feel inadequate to comment. Think they have done tremendous improvements with Mavic Pro 2, even in windy conditions, you could not see the legs of the device and such. When the drone was landing, noticed you had something big in your hands, do you control the drone with an iPad or phone?

88 Sep 19 Reply Thank you Charles, Gary and Scott for your feedback.

Charles: I have several shots with those trees, included these only when I did the vertical panorama to capture more of the sky. I deliberately left the trees for this shot to frame the milky way in this one. I did straighten the trees also in one version but somehow preferred this for leading focus to the milky way. All subjective I guess :)
Gary and Scott: do have images with foreground more exposed, though I thought this was better since it hides the grain and noise when darker. Will play around with it more

Gary: did not know that the native resolution is 3200 and 6400 for Mark iv, good to know. I hate going about 5000, so tried sticking to it if I went over 3200. Guess might as well do 6400 if it is native :)

88 Sep 19 Comment Great image Lou. Agree with Gary on increasing dynamic contrast to make the clouds and hills pop slightly more.

88 Sep 19 Comment Hi Scott, love the serenity of the place and image. Also think you have some great reflections that can be amplified here by cropping the image a bit as Charles suggested. Since you used Lightroom and photoshop, did you play around with the gradient tool? Might be able to bring out the golden hues on the mountain and increase the contrast a bit also? Sep 5th
88 Sep 19 Comment Wonderful image and post processing Sumit. Agree with Larry, great to print this one for sure. Sep 5th
88 Sep 19 Comment Charles, love both the image and the processing done to it. I like your original shot with the rock in the foreground. Was wondering why you decided to crop it a bit. My personal preference is to keep the rock without cropping, I think it will be more balanced and point of interest in foreground. Sep 5th
88 Sep 19 Comment Gary, like your composition. But do agree with Lue and Larry. I think like Larry said, either the HDR processing or ON1 had added too much clarity to the clouds and also made it a bit grainy. Toning down and reducing the opacity while using ON1 will make the clouds more natural. Also I use Defn2 from Nik to remove noise once I am done with processing, find it effective. Sep 5th
