I took this image in Sept 2018 in Cremona Italy. I used it because I wanted to learn how to use some new editing tools I had and this image was incredibility difficult to edit. |

This is a fascinating sculpture and the image shows good symmetry and viewpoint. I find parts of the statue on camera right merge into the background. Perhaps, if you reedited again, you might consider creating a mask and applying a gaussian blur to the background. |

I think this imageis intersting, his face has good shadows, and the rain provides mood. h Cary's face and the rain provides mood. The bright sky with the lighter tonal values for me, overpowers the statue. Perhaps you might consider adding more exposure to the image. |

The sunlight filter adds an interesting effect with the yellow color drawing the eye to the statue. I wondered if it should be toned down slightly because the camera right side of the image has a different color cast. |

I like the way you have framed this image so that we feel Linnaeus reaching out to grab the plant, so he can study and categorize it. My eye easily then moves to his dramatic face. |

I find you have taken a good street photography image. Both the people in the image and those viewing the hands are caught up by its power.
I think the monochrome was a good choice. |

Thank you for posting this image and providing its background.
Your angle, looking up at Sir John, is symbolic. He is a person we should look up to. |
