Hello all and thank you for your Questions and also comments. Sorry for late answering, during this year i spend a lot of time for the development of a new calculation method for premature failures on gears and bearings caused by cracks in the material under the contact Surface of those Elements. These failures occur very far before Fatigue life is reached and cause a lot of Trouble and Costs. However, i succeded in an experiance based Approach that could estimate the Risk of the probability of the occurence of this failure mode. On 2 congresses i Held presentations on this.
Thats why i unfortunatley could not spend so much time on photography.
This Image is, as Georgiane guessed a composition from 2 Images, the part of the lighthouse is taken in the late evening with sunshine on the lighthouse, the stars are taken on the same place in the night where luckyly were no Clouds, the place is very North, the exposure time for the Image of the stars was About 30 seconds so that Stripes on the stars could be avoided.I did not succed in a better and sharper Image from the stars, here it is very difficult to have a sky without other Lights and i wouls like to learn to takes Images from the stars.
