81 Sep 19 Reply And you are absolutely right. I struggled with that exact thought when working with the original crop of this.

In some ways I usually try to post something here that I personally don't have 100% confidence in (or even 90%), but like the photo/shot.

Its all about refining that next shot when I am in the moment. :) I love to see what my eyes may have missed.

81 Sep 19 Comment The shadow is awesome. Nice catch! You almost could have made the shadow the subject. Sep 8th
81 Sep 19 Comment ha ha ha. The original is great! I don't know why you changed it!

Anyway. I like pretty much everything about it.

81 Sep 19 Comment Great portrait! I agree with Randall on the contrast. But so nice regardless!

81 Sep 19 Comment I actually love wildlife b&ws. But that is really a preference thing!

I think the pelican is facing the right direction. Also the detail/style is beautiful.

My only "nit pick" is that to my eye (and maybe its the monitor I am viewing it on . . . I am at a different PC than usual) but the background feels too gray w/ a ever so slight gradient?

That really IS a very nit-picky thing. I love the photo. :)

81 Sep 19 Reply One of many shots of the bride and groom (many up close and personal). I was trying to emphasize the "walk". I was worried the left side had too much dead space, but I wanted the wide shot here as well as the crossroads. Also tried to get the size of the place.

Thanks as always Angela!

81 Sep 19 Comment Super cool pic. Always fun. And I like the detail with the cubes on the right.

81 Sep 19 Comment I love these shots. Flowers often die so well. Its almost my favorite time to shoot them.

Its a great image Janet. I like how the shadow in the background follows the edge of the petals too. It supports the flower well.
