72 Oct 24 Comment Isaac, this is an excellent image showing a typical African scene. We can feel their itching action! Giving the animals good space for us to understand and enjoy their environment works well.

I agree with Bev's suggestion of a tad more punch.

72 Oct 24 Comment Barbara - you did a great job here, both when taking the shot and in your pp. I like your crop. Love the sympathetic background! I agree that any form of lightening the shadows to the left side if its face would improve it, and ensure it's left eye is more easily visible at first look. Lovely image. Oct 19th
72 Oct 24 Comment Lovely shot Maria and I like the way it's looking at you. Bruce's contrast addition gives more punch - such matters are personal taste. Oct 19th
72 Oct 24 Comment Bruce - this is a lovely clean image of your Pronghorn, with very sympathetic muted colours in the ground/background. I like the space you have given it.

I also enjoyed your Morman Barn extra image. We went a good number of years ago in the fall on our way up to Yellowstone.

72 Oct 24 Reply Thanks Bruce - I agree and Isaac is on a similar wavelength. Oct 9th
72 Oct 24 Comment Thanks Isaac. Apparently Erik the Red named it Greenland around 980 in the hope that by so doing, settlers from Iceland and Norway would be attracted.

I do like some of what you have done, particularly the blue sea area, but when I change my master, I won't lighten more the bright sea area to the left.

91 Oct 24 Comment Cindy - I can't add anything either! Good initial shot and the perfect portrait crop. Great detail shown: very sharp. Oct 19th
91 Oct 24 Comment Steve - I love images like this which help show the character of little birds! The diagonal ridge of the rock and it looking to our right, with it positioned to the left all works so well! It would be interesting to hear the result of you looking at Cindy's warming suggestion. As shown, I like the overall linkage of the grey tones/colours in the bird to rock. Oct 19th
91 Oct 24 Comment Nice capture Sunat! Yes the image as presented shouts out for more space to our left. That would improve the feel of the image as explained above. Oct 19th
91 Oct 24 Comment A perfect image here Bruce. Your fast shutter speed has completely frozen the fast wings. Love the flower emerging from the bottom left corner. I don't think it matters that its eye isn't 100% clear.

If any cropping is looked at, I suggest you see what a small crop from the top achieves - removing the lighter top area may help keep the viewer's eye down.

91 Oct 24 Comment Lovely shot Jerry. Love the light on the bird. Clear sky very much helps.

I think your crop is right; I'm not sure I would like it as much without your bit of grass showing.

91 Oct 24 Reply Thanks Cindy - I will adjust my master to give the bird a tad more space around.

Borneo is a 'must' for any wildlife photographer - but I also enjoyed the culture of both Kuching to west as well as K-K to east - the people a so very friendly. I've fielded a number of Borneo wildlife images in Nature+ Group 72 (Oct23, Dec23 & June24).
