Lovely image Isaac! You timed this shot well with both heads clearly visible and with water disturbance such that your reflection includes their eyes. |

Well your trip wasn't wasted with this lovely portrait of a very colourful bid and as said above, the lichen helps to add interest. Can't fault it! Fabulous detail. |

Thanks Mary for posing another view of these amazing falls, which shows the flow away at the top and the lower flow - lovely composition. I prefer your adjusted image posed above.
I've been in winter which was amazing - I think I had an image here in January 2020. |

You did a great job Maria with this capture - I agree that to me you have wide enough depth of field - the eyes of the spider and fly really catch our attention!
I'm not sure about reducing the size of canvas: with the wildlife very near the front, I think it will make the image feel strange taking some of the top off - but darkening as you suggest may be worth while.
You were very lucky to get such a clean shot while the spider allowed you time to change lenses etc! Spiders with me grab their trapped prey so quickly, it is impossible to photograph well. Well done.

Bruce - this brought back happy memories from our trips to Yellowstone.
You timed this shot very well and the fact you didn't need PP changes post-cropping demonstrates your camera skills - presumably quite some years ago, judging by the camera body used. The background shows the classic Yellowstone features and thus tells the location story. |

Thanks Bruce. Just returned from 2 weeks from Borneo. Just possible images from there may appear here shortly! Loved the place and their happy people. |

Well done in the taking of your eagle Jerry.
I'm afraid I find your processing of the bird excessive to leave the viewer accepting it as real and the position of your moon also says 'probably not real'. The latter may not matter for private or Open use. |

WOW! What an experience for you and I'm sure you have many great individual images from this session. I like your crop very much - honed in on the action perfectly. I love the look of the heron - hatred and determination is what I see! |

Marge - thanks for your comments and sorry not to have replied but I've been on a cruise into St Laurence river (Quebec) and just got satellite wifi for a bit. The fulmar was taken in a large bay near Akureyri , which is known as v good for summer sightings of Humpbacks as pic here (if it posts ok). When the wind direction changed, part of the bay became like ice. |

Very impressive camera craft Cindy! I must try this technique for subjects on the ground - thank you for explaining how you achieved the picture.
Your timing works very well, with one of its feet off the ground and bent neck helping to add to its character and thus adding impact and interest (plus amusement) for the viewer. Well done. |

Santa - what a lovely pair of birds well captured. Comparing final with original, you have added punch to the colours and I conclude that you have judged how much to do this by well. The result generates a very pleasurable image of an impressive pair, presented well.
I suggest you consider cropping from the bottom by enough to remove the pale shape to bottom left, as well as other bright markings to the foot of your image. |

Lovey image Bruce. I like the fact your owl is looking down clearly hunting, yet its eye is very visible. Your lightening work will have helped here. The background in well taken out of focus, but is 'there'. |
