72 Aug 23 Reply Isaac - I agree my image is far too bright. Thank you for its correction. Aug 9th
72 Aug 23 Comment I like your portrait aspect here Isaac, and your baboon looks just so relaxed in front of you. I suppose this shows they are used to and ignore us tourists, which is good. Lovely natural looking sharp image. Aug 9th
72 Aug 23 Comment Hi Marie - I too like Isaac's crop which makes a clean composition. I actually prefer that vs your new picture as the flower is more distracting than the one in your main image. Have with your new camera! Aug 9th
72 Aug 23 Comment Great crop Barbara. I think you may have lightened the whole cropped area to get the elk to where you wanted her to show off the lovely coat (which is perfect), but in so doing lightened the grass too much. A case of using the powerful Lightroom masking facility, subject. Aug 9th
72 Aug 23 Comment Marie, thank you for posting such an unusual situation and one which makes us smile. I think the turtle's angle gives you the opportunity to adjust the crop so that it is sort of coming from the bottom left corner, which would create a strong diagonal towards the centre. Aug 9th
72 Aug 23 Comment Hi Bruce - Gosh this isn't good for the Elk although he seems to be following the instruction given to his as where to go! I wonder if their behaviour has changed following the reintroduction of wolves which has done so much to improve Yellowstone's eco system (from trees to badgers). Aug 7th

91 Aug 23 Reply Hi Jerry. I have just found a different set of images of the same pair of penguins feeding - this time with less distractions at the rear. Thank you as your comment prompted my search! Aug 25th
91 Aug 23 Comment Cindy - great capture! Lovely vivid colours. As said before, both crops work well. Aug 18th
91 Aug 23 Comment Marge - others posting ahead of me here have brought out good results with your image. I like the square format leaving both birds on a diagonal. Topaz programmes are very good, especially where heavy cropping is needed, so multiplying the pixels by x2 to x6 helps hugely. Aug 18th
91 Aug 23 Comment Your owl looks very regal stood in its environment Sunat! I did wonder whether you have made its tones too deep, but I concluded that they are believable. Well developed. I think it is correct to include its environment around him - quite how much is a personal judge. You would not be wrong to crop a bit all around 'him' - I like where you have him positioned in the frame. Nice image. Aug 18th
91 Aug 23 Comment Hi Bruce - I absolutely love this shot! So well timed!

I prefer the wider view with the negative space - I feel it adds to the drama. One could debate whether you have quite as much, but I like 'him' a little off centre as you have shown us. Great image.

91 Aug 23 Comment Jerry, you timed this shot well and have done a lot of processing on it. You've achieved a lovely muted background which is so muck better. Your work on the starling certainly creates a sticking image, but leaves me wondering how realistic it is, with materially even light all the way round. I agree with Cindy about the noise. Aug 18th
91 Aug 23 Reply Many thanks for visiting this group Tom and your comments here. Aug 18th
91 Aug 23 Reply Many thanks for visiting this group Tom and your comments here. Aug 17th
91 Aug 23 Reply Jerry - I admit that I could have moved a bit to the right (due to fence issues) but I was too excited watching what I was seeing to think of it! Aug 11th
91 Aug 23 Reply Thanks Bruce. I feel I have to travel a lot to match what so many of you 'guys' have on your doorstep! Off to Borneo soon! Aug 9th
91 Aug 23 Reply Thanks Cindy - there are some fright areas in the background and I've toned them down a tad with -white and -clarity. Aug 9th
91 Aug 23 Reply Thanks for adding this Jerry and sorry I didn't include it in my first email. Aug 3rd
