Marie I find this a lovely unusual shot and I love the textures of your main image with the pool of water. The fish there with its reflection certainly helps add interest, but I can't work out what happened - fit the gull drop it? If so, it closed its mouth quickly and has no obvious reaction having done so!
You handled the difficult (but nice) light very well. |

Thanks for posting this Barbara, but I have to agree that this is a pleasing scene but has no specific area that you want the viewer to focus on. If I also may say, some of us aren't from USA and I am not familia where SC may be. |

Wow Mary, how creative! You're on a roll! Great effect with a beautiful Core Image of your colourful hummingbird. Well done. |

Lovely shot and your crop is perfect. Lightening the shadow areas as isaac has suggested further enhances it. |

Bruce - so envious of you guys aging access relately easily to amazing wildlife locations! I like your camera settings with the slight movement in the wings - but it's the eyes that make it. Lovely shot!
I like more in many ways though the wider shot - just so unique and stunning! Thank you for adding that Bruce! |

Isaac, being on a boat was perfect to get an uncluttered view of the osprey and the boat disturbing it resulted in great eye contact which you took full advantage of. Great image! |

Many thanks Marie - I will look at using more deglaze etc - I do tend to understate my development work, frightened to end up with unrealistic results, but I like what you have done. |
