72 Oct 22 Comment A very colourful creature and image. I think you got quite close as your phone lens is I think close to life size 50mm. Minor suggestion is to remove the brown item to the left.

72 Oct 22 Comment I don't know these falls at all, but really like your image. The foreground makes it to my eye, giving foreground interest and perfect lead in up the image. Lovely! And impressive to have created this with the harsh conditions! Oct 28th

I also like Maria's suggested lightening of the crocs as I did have a query on yours that the mouth and teeth area seems unrealistically light vs the darkness of the bodies. A great image, well done. 72 Oct 22 Comment This is a truly lovely image Mary! First a portrait is unusual where the purpose isn't showing off the canyon's depth and you have shown the differing rock colours (sandstone I think?) so well. There is great detail in the darker red areas. Very skilful PP work!

And your original demonstrates you judged the expose to the right perfectly.

We've only been to the Grand Canyon once, staying at the centre so were able to experience the lovely light at sunrise, but still did not enjoy the landscape as mush as we did as Bryce and Zion - with what we felt were more impressive rock variety. Grand Canyon has scale but little else, was our view.

72 Oct 22 Comment Maria - I'm coming in late! I very much like your image with your duch in an interesting pose, with great detail throughout. Others have tidied up the background a tad which helps and I always lighten and add a bit of clarity/texture to the eye, enough to leave it looking natural, but noticed.
