Jen, as presented the huge sky isn't dramatic enough and the line of trees over the water are too dark for the viewer to easily understand. Stuart's work on both areas has made a significant difference!
I very much like your composition with the narrow right bank taking our eye perfectly into the distance. |

Kirsti, I like what you have created here. It is believable as an old image. The couples looking at each other is engaging. I like the lack of contrast. I wonder if a distressed edge effect would work on it. |

Ed, this certainly is so much better as a mono, vs the colour original! The viewer does not need to be aware of the history etc, your 8mage tells the story very well and your pp work is great.
I too think it does not need the over-elaborate frame: a simpler one would do the job better IMHO. Nice image though. |

Colin. This is a striking and somewhat stark image. I'm sure it will do well for you. Do I like it? I'm not sure I like this style of very much forced artificial pose, but as a mono image of shades and lines, it is very good. |

Mary
This is a really colourful and clear scene and so interesting with the colours and shapes. Having the other diver amongst the vast collection of fish makes for a very atmospheric image that takes us soles who have never dived into your wonderful world. Envious!. Thank you for posting this. |

Gosh I'm so jealous! We love Costa Rica having been twice, including one where we had 3 nights on the OSA Peninsula (Drake's Bay). We have a fortnight booked for a 3rd trip in Feb next year, but currently Costa Rica is barred for Brits by UK Government. We prey this will change!
I've never got that close to Howlers! One hears them!
You took 3 great images and I particularly like your main one, with one fruit in his mouth but another clearly visible, helping to understand the size of the fruit. Great character shown too with his tilted head.
Great pp work, although you will know that you couldn't use this in a Nature Class Exhibition after removing the leaf.
Great images Isaac! |

Marie, you got this spot on! Lovely shape to a landscape where it couldn't have been easy to decide what to leave in and out. You shutter speed choice seeps perfect with lovely silliness, but showing detail.
I wonder whether you tried different speeds.
An interesting well produced landscape Marie, we'll done! |

Walt, I find this a confusing image and still can't work out what I'm looking at, because of no scale help. I can understand Marie's comment re a flower.
So I can tell what the top part is (obviously), but I've no idea what the bottom area is. It looks like the top foliage of a tree or feathers!
I suggest you put a narrow grey border round.
Sorry, I'm not appreciating your creation! |

You've ended up with a great close up image Randy. Great idea from an unremarkable original. Excellent PP work and shows what can be done with a huge starting file. You must be very pleased with it! |

I love this Bruce Everyone says 3 of anything is best, but the triangle you have caught these in is perfect! Assed to this you have the left one flying into the triangle, with the other two looking in helpful directions.
Your chosen shutter speed has frozen most of the flying one's wings, but left some motion which is perfect. Love the background hue and the tree flowers/leaves add detail where helpful.
Glorious! |
