Sorry for coming late in the month here. As an IR image, the unique contribution it adds doesn't add much to this image I think. The power in the image is the various patters and lines, which I guess are similar to normal B&W treatment.
Thank you for posting while you were travelling! |

Yes a timely image to show John! Your treatment makes it far mor interesting an image to view and study, good choice! Thank you for sharing. |

I too very much like this unusual image of this setting. Darkening the area to the rear really works! Your inclusion of enough foreground smaller dunes provides scale and context.
I do find the very bottom scrub area distracting from the message you're conveying and would vote for their removal! An alternative might be to darken the are down so they don't say, look at me! Lovey skilfully processed image. |

Hi Jen! I love Bryce Canyon, although I've only had one trip there, staying for 3 or 4 days. We were lucky for our trip (Autumn) that it snowed the day before we arrived! It's a magical place, particularly early in the morning! I've never thought of converting my images to B&W - so I will look at my library, especially while I am in lockdown!
I like your choice of image here (I'm sure you have 100's!), the paths make a big contribution to this image, especially in B&W. The people also also add very helpful scale.
I think Ed's crop helps to focus more on the path lines and people. I really enjoying viewing image Jen, brought back happy memories! |

Many thanks Don. I've had a go at darkening the back wall somewhat - using Lightroom, which is actually now much easier as the back wall is a different colour than the area in front, so the auto mask works well. I could make it darker, but tried to leave it believable with some texture still visible. |

Fabulous capture Isaac! Very sharp and you did very well to have the eyes of both birds clear. I prefer your main image: I like the 'stopper' of the vertical and this makes the birds left of the image which makes it balanced. Well done Isaac! |

You did well Marie in your development as has been said, there is interest in the water and I like the feather texture you've brought out. Very interesting what Isaac says and am sure he is right. No harm Marie practicing development techniques at all! |

Lovely moody image Walt! Lots to look at throughout the image and I find the brightness of the flowers are believable relative to plants above them. Skilfully processed! |

A quality landscape Mary! There is interest throughout the image and one has a great sense of scale. I like the separation of the snowy mountains and the grey sky. |

I do like your wildlife images Abhijeet! Great timing with this shot, with the fish very clear in the egret's mouth and a nice background. Ideally, the partial egret at the back left shouldn't be there! If you wish to use the image for Nature comps, you obviously won't be able to remove this - frustrating. Stuart's work has certainly made the image much clearer with more punch |
