These sort of shots are so interesting Isaac! I've never experienced the site, or anything close - must have been truly amazing and I assume the event tests your reactions!
We probably all also seen this type of event captured with a slow shutter speed: the issue then is whether some part of the image should be sharp, or all blurred.
I have attached a letterbox view of your image as alternative. One advantage is by removing the green bottom, the result has a different feel, with browns, whites and blacks only. But I've cut birds in half to achieve this. But I do like effect. |

Mary, it's all about the clouds - which is why you took the shot and focused the development thereon - and it's worked! I can't say I love it, but it's a very appealing restful image. There is definitely a place for our hobby for these types of images |

Abhijeet, it's clear that there are many different pictures here, any who knows which is right! Your long exposure has really worked well to give a silky waterfall contrasting so well with the rich greens and rust colours of the rock I also like the shape of the stand-alone rock, but I also like the rust rocks. I have to say that out of the choice from the three (yours, Bruce and Mary), I like the latter two best, as I'm not sure the extreme right rocks in yours add much. But a lovely image, whichever crop! |

A lovely image Bruce! The white background is unusual, but works very well, with the bird standing out well and sympathetic colouring with the dead tree. |
