Hi Mary,
Very nice contrasty black and white, and i prefer this to the colour version.
Good crop too.
In an ideal world id have liked to see just a hint of his right eye/open or closed , but a pleasing image all the same.

Hi Karl,
Very interesting , i also played with rotating your image full circle and its pleasing at every angle.
Reminds me of a frog emerging from iced frogspawn. |

Hi Mary,
Your comments are noted with interest , thank you.
I guess subconsciously i used that border with edges as the Butterfly was taken in a butterfly house, lots of glass, and larva/pupa.
I will definately try your suggestion and remove/fade the lined edges.

Hi Sandra,
Love the effect and tone of the grass.
I agree ,
id like to see a bit more space in front/ left side of the seat ,
how about trying the original landscape, crop right at the end of 3rd large tree ,
also crop out the large tree on the left, that will leave you some lovely negative space to the front/side of the seat. Then toned as above. Its lovely. |
