I, too, love how you framed the falls with the tree limbs.
I would love to be able to see the falls closer but they are just too far away for me to really see very well. I'm sure in person it must have been quite a site. I just completed a critique class where students submitted waterfall images and the instructer suggested that to get sharp images you should be shooting at 1/1000 sec. in manual mode but try exposures in multiple shutter speeds.

This is a colorful autumn capture. I would rather be where the duck are- and it is not foggy and there is still some sun shinning through.
I know fog is very hard to work with- I spent many an hour working on sky and fog! I do like the way you captured the mood of the scene with the low hanging fog in the background.
The colors are bright, the image is sharp and in focus. The ducks add an additional dimention to your story. Nicely done. |

This is a lovely hawk image and you can see the catchlight in his eye. The image is sharp, the colors are nice, the composition is well done and framed well. Nice job. |

Thank you David and Walter for your comments.
Walter, I really appreciate your thoughts of another crop.
Does the image look soft to you? I showed the image to my critique group which is part of the North Bethesda Camera Club and they said the image was soft and as a result moved to someone else's image : (
