You have chosen a lovely image. The colors are wonderfully balanced and the DoF is good. The image is tack sharp. I love the catchlight in the bird's eye.
I too, like the lighting on the bird's head but think there should be more lighting on the bird's back and tail feather's. Beautiful image.

You have captured a wonderful image. I love the light in the horse's eye in addition to the expression in their face/mouth. The DoF is good.
I personally like the color in the original version as opposed to the edited version. That said, I think that B&W might as shown above might be a good alternative. |

This is an interesting image with lovely colors. I like the defined skyline at the bottom of the image. The blurred movement of the birds is as Walter says above, " sharp enough to tell what the image is, but blurred enough to show the movement and chaos of so many birds taking flight at once". |

You have chosen a wonderful subject and I just love the beak of the pelican. The DoF looks good to me. I love the vivid colors of the pelican however, it is interesting how in the original image the water looks much bluer than in the edited version. |

You have chosen an interesting subject and the title, Dinner Plate, I think, aptly describes the subject. The flower has nice colors and the depth of field and lighting are good.
I think that Walter's square cropped image adds and highlights the flower best.
