Hi Charlie, thank you for the comment. I don't think you are talking about spot metering. I think you are talking about a different feature which I don't have on my T2i camera, unfortunately. But that would have been a good suggestion if I had the feature. It is great for locking on to moving objects.

What a lovely blue bells!
My eye is having a difficult time wandering around the scene trying to find a place to focus in on. I think Walter's edited photo helps my eye focus on the blue bells only.

Janice, from this image I can only image what a blast off of snow geese must look like. Good for you for taking a risk! If you don't take a risk, extraordinary photos etc. don't happen.
When I looked at the photo I wasn't sure what I was looking at until I read your caption. While a blurred image is great, I'd like to be able to identify snow geese. I know if you keep working it, you'll have something great next blast off! |

I too, like the 2nd image better. The image is great. It's in sharp focus. I love seeing the light in the eyes- right where it should be. I've never seen a Possum before in my yard. So thank you for sharing this with us. |

I love the side-lighting on the face of the horse.
I love the definition of his hairs.
When I look up to his hairs, my eye is drawn to the rusted rim above his head. Perhaps there is some way to blur that rim. I would also love to see a little more of his face.
Overall, wonderful! Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing more. |
