Changes that I was able to figure out included. I filled the pixel area and dabbed with a clone brush. I also removed and filled the light lower left of the pier from the bridge. |

I like the infinite background as well. The image is well lit and I like it. For any change, and not to make it ant better, experiment with directing the light a little more from right to left to get a, ahem, glamorous model light sourcing...either split or rembrandt! :) Nice shot! |

I would apply a filter to the water and create some blur/motion, then bring up the color just on the ducks for some improvement. Nice shot! |

I would think that continuous shutter might have helped for getting the rings just right. That being said, I would crop the top and right sides and that might help put her in the left third and better shape the image. Nice shot! |

Very sharp, love the details. I like Harry's idea and it looks quite ok like that. I love starbursts, but it was a bit strong..not sure how else I would have tackled it. Nice Shot! |

I like the position, great job on timing! I agree to try easing the bright green leaves out a bit, something I might work on with my software in the future. Great shot! |

I like the color image as well for sky definition. I would IMHO just crop the color to just above the tree and just below the ducks and that might put the tree into more the right third and highlight the sunset behind the tree. Nice shot! |

Thank you everyone for the suggestions.....I learned a few things already or have been reminded of forgotten things. Try to frame the image as best I can firstly, watch my Rule of 3rds, and delineate my subject/objects in the image. |

Maybe, I like the busy in this as the lights projected upwards connect the structures with similarity pointing to the darkened sky. The location would be difficult to single just one structure without the other and still highlight the upward light. But, that being said, I might revisit the location and circle about and change the view a bit. The doorway leading into the pier leaves me to wonder how to get around it when in operation. |

Thank you yes, very busy. Sort of my point with the change of lights between subjects...sort of a major and minor. I find my mind sometimes works toward a spiral in these situations so I disregard the thirds. I will try the crop. :) |

Thank you. It was a tough choice after the shot to crop. I don't try to crop as I always try to get it right when shooting. That being said, I will try to extend the edge after cropping and straightening. |

Thank you Laurie. Afterthought was that I cropped the top of the bridge out when I straightened as seen in the RAW image. I don't think in it's present form that the top can be brought back in. As for the wider view, I was between some light and sign poles when shooting and if I went wider I would not like those in the image, although I can clearly see the benefit of a wider view, the image was shot from the street and maybe a closer try with a wider view lens might work. Thank you for the input. |
