34 Feb 26 Reply This is much better. Fewer distractions, and better detail. Feb 25th
34 Feb 26 Reply When I'm working, I try not to 'save'. I instead 'save as' and add'v1,v2', etc. That way I can go back and import old layers. Feb 22nd
34 Feb 26 Reply My only intention was to turn a flawed image into an artistic one. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Reply I understand the rule of thirds, but I don't see it as an absolute. Sometimes the rule is boring. I chose to balance the negative spaces, rather than the elements. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Reply Thanks, but a polished image was not my goal. I wanted to enhance and exaggerate the distortion without losing all of the detail, to make the image more interesting. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Comment I like the composition. But I agree the colors are over saturated. I would repeat Jan's suggestion of bringing out more of the original detail. However, I think you would have better control of the effect by using layer modes on each element before reducing the opacity. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Comment These elements are well suited for this kind of whimsical expression. The composites are solid, and the image is well balanced. The only change I can suggest is to put a shadow between the subject and background, mostly to give the hat a bit more definition.. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Comment I like this overall, although not my style. My only problem is the apparent proximity of the subjects to the background. It seems too close. In fact, when I look at the shadow of the subjects, it appears to be behind the reflection. Feb 21st
34 Feb 26 Comment This is beautiful. The only thing that I might try to change is the random non-directional light flares. To my eye, they do not add to the image. Feb 21st

68 Feb 26 Reply I usually get good results using the smart remote. It's better than the earlier (Hero 2, 3, 4,) non-'smart' remotes. This was the tram I had just arrived on, as it was pulling out. Feb 28th
68 Feb 26 Reply Yes, the brightness was already brought down. This was the compromise that was most comfortable. This was mid day during the week. Most of the passengers had just gone down from the platform. The people you see have missed the tram as it was leaving.

68 Feb 26 Comment I assume this was taken with a w3 or beam pro. The subject is interesting, and framed well. The branches at the top give the composition balance, and add more depth to the image. The trade off is that the depth seems more shallow near the base of the building. Feb 10th
68 Feb 26 Comment Good depth and color over all. Excellent framing. The only real issue is that your shadow on the ground has moved, creating false depth. If you cropped the bottom third out, it would still be a good image, without the shadow error. Feb 10th
68 Feb 26 Comment The parallax is very small. Most of the depth is at the window. Also, the framing is a bit crowded. If you took a step back, you would have had more depth cues on the edges. Feb 10th
68 Feb 26 Comment This makes my mouth (and eyes) water. :) Good depth and color. I see no problem with noise, so good work there too. The horizon seems to lean to the lkeft slightly. Feb 10th
