34 Jul 23 Reply On the contrary. This is excellent. The elements are strong on their own, and so well integrated that most people won't even notice the minutia. Jul 3rd

Pedantic update: After looking longer I also find it incongruous that her flowing dress is stopped sharp, while the traffic behind her is clearly a longer exposure. Not something that most people would notice, and it doesn't detract from the overall impact.

34 Jul 23 Comment I love that you took this in a completely different direction from the original. Original 2 already evokes a landscape. Your addition of the sun and the 'spectator' (ironic birdwatcher?) balances the bright spots and the well used negative space. Jul 1st
34 Jul 23 Comment I love the subtle pareidolia you've created. The overall look suggests symmetry, but also highlights asymmetry. Also the contrasts of textures and color add significant interest. A dropped shadow behind the wooden pieces might add more. The only unfortunate part is the missing diagonal support, and the fact that the leading lines point directly at the missing element. Jul 1st
34 Jul 23 Comment I like this a lot. The framing is excellent, and the overall symmetry is powerful. Even the over saturation on the highlights works to give it the appearance of clouds reflected on glass. Jul 1st
34 Jul 23 Comment Wow! This is really well done. The light, color, and lines are much better integrated than your similar image from November 2022.
The only thing I do notice is the lack of transparency under her arm.

68 Jul 23 Comment It looks hazy until you see the bug screen. Good depth and framing.
Many of the things I miss from Chicago were near UC. My Pi pizza, Harold's chicken shack, and the Cove were regular hangouts.

68 Jul 23 Comment Very nice image and edit. Great color, depth, and definition, but the tight crop feels a bit claustrophobic to me. Jul 4th
68 Jul 23 Comment Very nice. The spooky lighting has worked in your favor. Great job on the smoke. Jul 4th
68 Jul 23 Comment A beautiful scene. Great lighting and composition. It's unfortunate that the w3 has a fixed lens base. Other than offset from the window, I'm not seeing much depth even if I zoom in on a small area. Fortunately, the haze behind the Sisters gives it a little more pop. Jul 4th
68 Jul 23 Comment A beautiful scene. The fence emphasizes the depth well, however it breaks the window at the bottom edge. Also when looking at the people on the path, there seems to be some movement between shots. Jul 2nd
