21 Sep 21 Reply The stroke was a compromise. Without it, the tree on the right lacked definition. I tried various densities and colors, but chose this one because it worked equally well with the tree and horizon. I also tried dropping a shadow which was my second choice, but was more obviously unbalanced. The image is meant to fuse the real/unreal, similarly to many other Amsterdam experiences, so the off-center lines tell part of the story. Sep 17th
