I love your original photo. Your creative use of low angle and unusual lighting have produced a memorable result with a colorful but mundane subject.
While your new image achieves the desired painterly result, it is by comparison, less aesthetically pleasant than the original. |

I disagree with the others. I appreciate the juxtaposition of real/surreal, especially when the surreal part is actually real (like your mylar) as opposed to created post camera. |

I love your original of the glasses, and I think it should be the primary image. If you used perspective tools to place the windmill onto the paper, it would strongly portray the message you were trying to express. |

An interesting composite, but I like the original better. |

I love the simple contrasting colors. It makes everything seem connected. |

Great hyper image of the subject, but the background is far beyond normal parallax. It's hard to look at as it is, but as stated above could look much better as part of a composite. |

This is the best one of you and your brother. The space between you is still a bit undefined, as is the tree and the structure in the right background. Otherwise this is excellent! |

It is true that a different perspective may have been more complete, but in the moment we have to take the shot we are presented with. The street was crowded, and they came out of an alley on the right. I barely had time to raise the cameras. |

The person on the left is part of the story, as he is pulling the wagon. I tried cropping him out, but lost the couple behind him. This result is more balanced, although I had to push it way back to get him into the window safely. |

Slightly over parallax, but still viewable. Not sure I like the vignette. Somehow it makes the colors seem unnatural. |

A good attempt, however the foreground is violating the stereo window, and the window of the house violates physics! The car and foreground seem a bit flat, and disconnected from the rest of the image. I am a big fan of surrealism, and this definitely has the proper elements. Despite its problems, I like it! |

Superb. The dharma of this image is very auspicious, since Ganesha's relevance to the worlds of art and science is well celebrated. The puja of your image is strong, with well placed elements of water and rooted plants, as well as astute lighting, which removes the difficulty of background distraction. The mouse hides well, doubly expressing the calming nature of the image.
Removing the background distraction has however limited the perceived depth. A slightly more hyper base, and a small push back from the window might stretch the depth a bit.
Ganesha was the subject of the first lenticular image I ever purchased, and blesses my home and workplace. Thank you for sharing your devotion. |
