I first thought this was a kite surfer, I was impressed when I saw it was a chair! Desaturate the chair a bit and blend the edges in a little more. Well done, I like it a lot. |

Wow Georgianne, to even think of distorting the red layer like that just blows my mind!! You have turned an ordinary pavement to to a work of art, congratulations. |

What a great image, I would not put the lights in for camera club as the first thing the judge would say is they eye is drawn to them. I was a little put off with the man cut in half at first, think I am OCD, LOL. However the more I look at it, the more I like it. I would darken the white line going down the stairs I find this distracting. The man is perfect, combined with the stairs it is a wonderful image. I took a lot of stairs while away, now I just need a subject. |

I am impressed, with the little time I get to use my light tent, I have not mastered the white background. I have no problem with the black, so I stick to that for now. I like the shadows. |

This is amazing, I love it. I also would have liked to see a bit more of the church. Have you tried putting a very tiny amount of shadow behind the people? I find this adds dimension to my images. I put a blank layer underneath the people then add a very slight bit of black, not so much as it looks like a shadow as it should not. Just my thoughts, but a great image, which I like very much. Sorry you will miss the festivities this year. My husband will be in Tokyo on Halloween and I believe they go mad with it, so I will be a little jealous not getting photos. He cannot take one to save his life these days, lucky if they are in focus!!! |
