Hi Alan, welcome to the group, I have not been here very long, but have found new concepts to work with my images from these lovely members. I also do a lot of composites, but have not put many up here as I have lost parts of the originals over the years. I was also shooting a Ballerina last week. We had two ballet dancers, one ring gymnast and 2 latin dancers, for $50 AU. I had quite a few struggles as well. I really like what you have done here, a touch of strange, my kind of image. The only thing I can suggest is maybe darken under his shoes a little to ground him to the moon more, also the bottom Ballerina grounded a little more with shadow. However I am only looking at this on a small laptop, my desktop is broken. I understand if this was what you were going for. I am looking forward to seeing more of your images. |

I love what you did with the background. The only comment I would make is that I would get rid of the bright spots, the top of his head, under the ear on the left hand side and just on top of the chain male, same side. Can you turn his eyes a bit greener? Very minor suggestion on a great image. I use Viveza just to make areas a bit less bright and make the eyes a bit greener with the green slider. Well I did until yesterday when I started using PSCC and now my Nic plugins do not work! I love the colouring and tones you have ended up with here. |

This is gorgeous Jan, I always get inspiration from the people here, this is another example. I love the shadows, the glow and that little pop of light. I am really cranky now that I threw a clock the same as that out when I clean out the folks house!! A well put together image. |
