Thanks for your tips everyone, I will give them all a go after Christmas. Jan, I love the chair idea! Now I just have to find one somewhere to take a photo of!

Great critique, thanks for the water tip, I will try it. I find that creative images do not do well in comps but I like to play. |

What a great fun image. I would never have thought of doing this!! It would go fantastic in a "Food" comp. Brilliant idea and well photographed, even if you did have to do a little plaque removal LOL. I am going to try and remember this for a still life, well done. |

I love this image and well done on a busy month. The only thing I can suggest is make a new layer and clone over the burnt out area on the petals on the right hand side. Then bring down the opacity just enough to tone down the brightness. I love the colours. |

I love the way you have taken a messy image and turned it into something to be proud of. I love taking images at zoos, but most of the time they are not stand out images on their own. You manage to turn them into works of art. |

Great background and I really like the placement of the people. I think your shadows could do with a little more work, to take this image to the next level. Mine are far from perfect, I try to learn from Adrian Sommeling. http://www.adriansommeling.com/. I have no affiliation with him and I do not know him, just try to learn from him. I love the way you have taken great subjects with uninteresting backgrounds and turned it into n interesting image. |
