Hi Frans,
Such a spectacular event! I agree with the comments regarding the tent, I think it could be toned down just a touch so it's brightness does not compete with the sky. Also I would try to adjust the color tint on the tree to the right to remove the red and go with a blue or green tint.
Over all an inspiring shot!

Hi Judy,
I think this works really well as a panorama. I like the layers and the colors. When I first looked at the image I thought the rock was just a dark area in the wave but when I zoom in it did seem a bit distracting as the detail has been lost. I think I would try cloning it out or just cloning over it with a low opacity to add some wave detail or if you have another image of the rock you could just paint in some detail from the rock in PS using layers and a mask and brush. I like the amount of motion you let into the image, that seems to have worked well.

Hi Kathryn,
I really like to colors in the image, I think the trees and the blue sky and water work well together. I agree that less sky would be better. I copped with a 16:9 aspect ratio and just added a little more blue to the upper left corner.

Hi San,
WOW this is fantastic! You did a great job and the focus stacking kept every this so sharp--really great image.

Hi Pierre,
I think the primary subject is the horizontal tree and it's reflection. The other trees and the snow play a supporting role. I liked the cropping suggested by the others so I applied a 16:9 crop. I also like the idea of toning the image so I cooled the color temperate of the entire image and then warmed up the central area. I like to blue to enforce the idea of cold and since our eyes are drawn to warmth I used that where I want people to look. Also, I found the bright yellow leaves in the foreground to be very distracting so I desaturated them a bit.
Best wishes, Todd |

Hi Lamar,
The cement structures provide a very strong graphical quality to this scene. So strong in my opinion that they are the subject of the photo. I feel the beach stuff in the foreground is a distraction. If you do want to include something in the photo other than the pillars I would consider simplifying the arrangement as much as possible.
Best wishes,
