Hi Lamar,
This is a beautiful image! The light on the dune and grass is exceptional and the textures are very well shown. The sky is also just right and does not distract from the main subject. Fantastic! |

Hi Pierre,
This is a nice quiet tranquil scene. You did a great job showing the mist and I like the light traveling through the trees. I would keep the bright area in the right upper corner as I like how it shows the source of the light. |

Hi Wayne,
I like the curves in this composition and they really lead the eye into the scene. I do prefer Judy's crop and would take a little bit more off of the sky which is a nice blue bet also a large empty area. |

Hi Kathryn,
This is a very nice image of a really cool scene. Nice job capturing the storm clouds over the landscape. Sometimes I think it is fine to leave the horizon in the middle but after seeing Stuart's crop I think I prefer his suggestion. I also like Judy's color in the clouds so maybe combine both of these suggestions. |

Hi Judy,
For me what I like most about this image is the nice layering of pastel colors. I prefer the pano crop and think the image is fine without a foreground element. |

Hi Frans,
Nice job shooting from a boat! For me the lights and reflections are really interesting and well done. I also agree that the left side of the image is a little busy and I like Lamars crop. If I had to choose I think I would go with the tighter crop on the boat but it is a hard call.

Hi Lamar,
It is not an infrared image, I applied a solid color adjustment layer to the trees with fill at about 10%. I choose the color with the color picker from an area of bark I liked. For the sunlit areas I applied a solid color layer again around 10% and choose a yellow. I have reworked the image several times and blurred the background a foreground with a lens blur. Here is the most recent version which also has less magenta in the background. Playing around with the colors sometimes has unrecognized effects but I'm having fun seeing what I can come up with. |
