Hi Pierre,
This tells a clear story of a cold walk in a winter storm. The bluish tint reinforces the idea of cold. I also like that the snow flakes are easily seen. Nice job!

Hi Kathryn,
You captured a beautiful sky and great light falling on the tower. Keeping the tower small emphasizes the scale of the canyon. I also feel that the strongest elements in the image are in the upper half and cropping into a pano works well.

Glen,
I agree that the sunset is not the most dramatic ever but I still like it , In this image I think it would be best to go with a soft pastel look to go with the softening of the water created by the ND filter/ long exposure. I have applied an Orton effect in TK Panels and made some changes to highlight the rocky bit in the center for your consideration.
Best Wishes,

Hi Frans,
Wow! what a striking image. All of the elements are in the right positions within the frame and I really like the light on the actor to the right. My only suggestion would be to correct the area of blown out highlights in the green which I quickly did with the clone stamp tool but with a little more time I think the correction would be unnoticeable. Fantastic shot! |

Hi Judy,
This is a very nice composition along the shoreline. The Arch and wave are in good positions and the sky creates a dramatic scene. I would like to see more light coming through the arch and on the wave and rocks. I also cropped the bottom a bit so the angle of the shore line would intersect the left lower corner of the frame.
Overall very nice image.

Hi Lamar,
I like your use of the filter to dampen the sun. The image has nice color and I like the arch of the oats which to me suggests a little sea breeze. I would like to see a little more detail in the oats and grass but this may have required another frame to increase the exposure for the grass. Also, I do like the crop suggested by Frans but feel the sun is a little too centered. I did a little digital manipulation in PS to include all of the elements I like most in the image. I think I may have moved the sun a little to far to the right. I hope you don't mind, I find it helpful to experiment with compositional ideas this way.
Best Wishes,
