Hi Frans,
I love the conversion to black and white! I thought the buildings could be a bit brighter so I selected them with a luminosity mask and increased the exposure a bit. Very nice composition.

Hi Judy,
It is amazing how much detail you were able to recover! The sky is beautiful. I wish the men where more separate from each other and from the stucture. I did clone out the post behind the man on the right and you could probably remove the post next to the man on the left although it would take awhile to do that one. also, I like the crop suggested by the others.

Hi Kathryn,
This looks like an interesting place. I thought there may be a bit too much empty water in the right lower corner so I tried a bit of a crop. I do like the grasses in the foreground. I like Judy's crop also but this is just another Idea. Also, I think the photographer in the scene is obscured by the grass and therefore not a strong enough subject to keep so I cloned him out.

Hi Glen,
I love the long exposure! I also like the position of the rocks in the foreground and in the water, the image seems well balanced to me. I often notice in my own long exposures of water and in this scene that the highlights can easily blow out. I darkened up the brightest area of the water to bring out little detail. Also, I warmed up the color temp of the sand and added some highlights to the jungle.
Best wishes, Todd |

Hi Pierre,
Such an iconic view--I'd love to visit this area someday. I really like the symmetry with the big peaks in the middle of the U-shaped valley. I also like the creek in the foreground. I did crop off some of the bottom just to fill the Frame with more of the mountain.

Hi Lamar,
This is a beautiful scene. The light in the left upper corner is fantastic and I'm expecting to see angles bursting out to the clouds at any moment! I think that area is so strong that it leaves the rest of the scene looking little dark. I tried to brighten up the right side of the image and the foreground in order to balance things out.
