Nice vibrant color in this image. You did a great job of cleaning up the foreground fence and power pole and I like the addition of the boat as it adds interest. I feel a bit could be cropped off the right side of the image. Nice job! |

Wow, what an improvement from the RAW image to the finished edit! The beach has been used a nice leading line and the color of the sky is very nice. I wonder if you could bring out a little more of the green grass color next to the structure. Nice job. |

This is a very interesting scene with so much to look at. I like the perspective of looking straight down the street. I agree with Frans and like the buildings straight. Also, I wonder if you could brighten the individual umbrellas that are not already backlit (just a little)? |

I like the aerial perspective, it really provides so much information about the land. In this image I particularly like the blues and greens in the water and the S-curve of the river. I would suggest using a brush to increase the saturation and detail of the river just to pull the eye a little bit more in that direction. Finally, I find the little line of brown at the very bottom in the middle a bit distracting and you could clone out just the bit of it that intersects with bottom edge of the frame. |

I like the visual flow of the image, my eye immediately goes to the fantastic sun star and then follows the ground fog and finally finds the bridge. The warm color of the sun also seems to work well with the rich green color of the grass. I do like the sky darker as in Frans' edit but think I would keep the grass at its original brightness or close to it. I also agree that if you can pull any detail out of the sky this would be helpful as it does seem a bet empty. |

Wow, what a crazy tree! I feel the branches provide many opportunities for leading lines as you have done here. The complexity of the canopy is very interesting and the dark color of the branches really helps this stand out. I like the color harmony of the green above and yellow below--in fact I would like to see a little more saturation in the ground cover. I agree that the foreground corners seem a bit empty and maybe a panoramic crop would help. I do find the people and signs to be distracting. Overall I find this to be an exciting image. |

Thanks Pierre, This shot was taken in the Alabama Hills on the east side of the Sierra. It's an interesting area and I'm looking forward to returning next winter. Settings: 42 mm focal length with a 24-70 lens, 1/80 sec, f8, iso 100. |

Hi Judy, you and Frans ( and others outside of this forum) have all noticed that little rock so I did remove it and liked the result. |

Hi Frans, I agree, I did clone out the little rock and I think It made the ridge line look a lot cleaner. |
