As Jerry says, there is lots to look at here. One small detail that is interesting is the modern windows in the very,very old walls. That, the what looks like power lines on the outside walls, and the drying clothes tell a story of adaptation in an ancient region. |

The placement of the bear just off center works well. the whole image is well balanced. The bow of your boat points into the scene nicely. It has been more than 25 years since I photographed and fly fished in Kenaai. Your image brings back great memories. Nicely done! |

There is lots to look at in this image. It took me some time to find a shadow that would explain the tough lighting you had to work with. Nice job! |

That foreground rock really anchors the image. If I cover the rock while viewing the image it changes drastically and not for the better. I also like that you can see reflections on the water among the rocks which softens them a bit. Nice! |
