I might have a chance tomorrow to try again with a different scene. No clouds today, just lots of heat! |

I don't see a loss of detail, but I do see a slight loss of sharpness. That could be the result of editing or camera motion. |

An intriguing image. I'll admit that layers are not in my wheelhouse!mI admire those who do use them. This image is a wonderful example of what is possible.
BTW, I did not know until I waited too long to answer your question last month that the comment period closes at some point after the images are posted. |

The play of lines in this image works beautifully.I see Lynne's point about the foreground grass, but to crop that rexmoves one of the strongest lines. Photographer's choice. I like it as is, but it would also be good as Lynne suggests. |

Wow, what a great shot of a wonderful tree. Longwood is a photographers dream at any time, but fall and Christmas are very special. I like the framing you chose and the leaves in front of the trunk to emphasize the season. Nice job! |

Very nicely seen. This image also works well as a horizontal. It could even be an AAA illustration. |

Like Lynne, my only selfies have been to show the family the bad stuff, like skin surgery etc. Who else would care? I see Lynne's point about the eyes. Placing your image off center is an interesting departure from the standard portrait. Interesting! |
