Ditto all the portrait mode comments.
The square frame around the circular subject, both of which stand out from the background is striking.
Did you intend to place the object a tiny bit off center? The fact that I noticed that only after a very long look is tribute to how compelling the image is. |

As Jerry commented, the B&W version really works. Everything pops and that is good in this case. Not every image is strong enough for thus much drama. The distracting "brushy" elements visible on both sides in the original, strengthen the B&W image. Printed on a high gloss paper this would be a great wall piece. |

That closed door at the end of the track changes everything. Unlike my comments with Jerry's image, this one conveys loss of hope in a lovely way. That contrast really works. Nice light too. Nicely done. |

I cant resist asking if the artist wanted to "plant" an idea in the character's mind?
More seriously, your image is thought provoking. Nice job. |

It leads to the pavement in Henderson Hollow, known only to locals. |

Thanks for the great reminder to use our infrared filters if we have one. A lovely example here.
I am struck by the fact that four of us have images of roads (paths) leading into the distance, read future? Are we all looking forward to the end of a difficult winter? |
